- Currently involved as manager of the Cowichan Lake and District Seniors Association.

- Have held this position for ten years.

- Involved in minor hockey and minor basball for ten years as a coach,divisional manager and president.

- Worked for B.C.F.P. (Fletcher Challenge, Timberwest) forthirty five years starting in Victoria in 1962 and then transferring to Caycuse, BC in 1972.

- 4 years in the plywood mill and then went into a career in the accounting field with the company.

- Enjoy travelling with wife when time permits.

- Has been married to wife,Iris, for 47 years and are proud parents to three children, one of whom, a daughter, lives in Lake Cowichan and two sons, the oldest of whom lives in Grande Prairie, Alberta and the other in Didsbury, Alberta.
